A mouse fell to the ground and a lion threatened to kill him. The mouse pleaded for mercy. The lion asked-“Why would I save your life? You are of no use to anyone – you are even too small to eat!”
The mouse said, “No one´s size tells the value of their life, I’ll make you a promise…if you save my life, one day I shall repay that debt.” The lion laughed and let the mouse go.
The mouse kept its oath. One day, hunters caught the lion and tied him to the ground with ropes. The lion was helplessly waiting for its fate. The mouse appeared at night and started nawing through the ropes. And just before dawn, the lion escaped to safety.
Before he left, he said:
-Never again will I look down upon the small ones. No matter how big and powerful you are, you still need the help of others.
