George Bernard Shaw once remarked, “If you teach a man anything, he will never learn.” There’s a lot of truth in that . Life’s biggest lessons aren’t in lectures. They’re learned by example. It has been said that we remember 30 per cent of what we hear. 60 percent of what we see and 90 percent of what we do. On top of that, once we get people to see it, often we can get them to do it. That means example is a big part of influence, making influence a crucial part of life. Actions still speak louder than words.
